FEDERAL DATA PROTECTION ACT (BDSG)
1. The responsible and sensitive handling of personal data of all members is an extremely important issue for the Executive Ladies Diaspora e.V. The compliance with the data protection regulations for the collection, processing and use of personal data, in particular the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG), the Executive Ladies Diaspora e.V is committed to.
2. Information you provide shall generally be processed and used only for the purposes for which they were collected.
3. You have to request in accordance with § 34 BDSG the right information about the data stored about you, the purpose of storage, as well as the transfer of such data.
4. The Executive Ladies Diaspora e.V therefore has legal obligations under the Data Protection Act to protect personal information about individual association members acquired through the normal course of the Association business.
5. The Association Secretariat or an Executive Board member shall not release personal information about individual members acquired through normal course of business to third parties, except by compulsion of law or by court order.
6. For the avoidance of doubt sensitive personal data concerns the individual's age, race, ethnicity, politics, religion, trade union status, health, sex life or criminal record.
7. Regional Branch Executive Committee shall be guided by the provisions under Article 49 of these Constitution and shall report to the General Secretary any such request.
8. If further questions in dealing with user data or data protection arise, the user can use the relevant data protection officer of the Executive Ladies Diaspora e.V executive.
